With the arrival of summer, hot weather can lead to indoor temperature’s rise, which can also affect the evaporation rate of ink, causing the problems of nozzle blockage. Therefore, daily maintenance is very essential. We must  pay attention to the following notes.  

First, we should control the temperature of the production environment well. Because the temperature in summer is too high. Sometimes the outdoor temperature can reach 40℃. In order to avoid affecting the use of digital printer, it is suggested to control the indoor temperature. The machine should be placed in a cool corner, avoiding high temperature and direct sunlight. In order to ensure the quality of printing, indoor printing temperature should be controlled at about 28℃ in summer, and humidity is 60% ~ 80%. If the working environment of digital printer is too hot, please install cooling equipment in the workshop. 

Second, the printing test should be done when the machine is turned on every day. After the machine is turned on, it is necessary to print the test strip first, and then open the ink cycle and check the state of the nozzle. If the temperature is too high in summer, the ink is easy to volatilize, so please pay attention to moisturizing, and maintain the ink regularly.  

Third, you should ensure power-off protection of the printer. When the digital printing machine does not work for a long time, you can choose power-off protection. Do not leave the machine in standby state, which will increase the temperature.  

Fourth, pay attention to ink storage. If ink is exposed to the ultraviolet light, it is very easy to solidify, and the requirements for storage are also very strict because summer temperature is very high. If the ink is in a high temperature environment for a long time, it is easy to precipitate, and then block the nozzle. The storage of ink, in addition to avoiding high temperature, but also need to avoid light, ventilation, no open fire, no combustible place upside down storage. At the same time, in the high temperature weather, ink can volatilize very fast and the opened ink should be used up  within a month. When using the ink, shake evenly before and then adding ink to the main cartridge.  

Fifth, we should clean the head of carriage timely. You can take weeks as a unit to clean the internal and external hygiene of the printer, especially in the head of carriage, guide rail and other key positions. These steps are very essential! Make sure that if the plug surface of transfer board is clean and tight.
